Corruption is one of the topics widely discussed internationally in recent years as a transnational crime. In our country, comprehensive measures are being systematically implemented to combat corruption and prevent the commission of such crimes.
In order to ensure the implementation of the Presidential Decree No. PP-5177 of July 6, 2021 “On additional measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption activities” and to instill in young people the concept of “Honesty Vaccine” An event under the motto “We are against corruption” was organized at the Faculty of Business Administration and Information Technology of the Kattakurgan branch of the University.
The event was attended by J. Mardanov, Assistant Prosecutor of Kattakurgan, Sh. Mustafayev, Deputy Director for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Enlightenment, S. Eshonkulov, Advisor to the Director, and 60 students.

In his speech, J. Mardanov, Assistant Prosecutor of Kattakurgan, said that the main principles of the fight against corruption are the rule of law, the priority of civil rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, openness and transparency, systemic cooperation between the state and civil society, prevention of corruption. The Republic of Uzbekistan has also adopted a number of normative and legal acts aimed at combating corruption, in particular, the Law on Combating Corruption. He also mentioned that it is one of them.
After that, S. Eshankulov, Advisor to the Director, spoke about the fight against corruption and its prevention, timely detection of corruption offenses, their elimination, elimination of their consequences, possible causes and conditions, the inevitability of liability for corruption offenses. gave information. He also informed the students that Articles 210, 211 and 212 of the Criminal Code provide for liability for corruption-related crimes.
At the end of the meeting, Sh. Mustafayev, Deputy Director for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Enlightenment, explained to the students not to get involved in greed and to adhere to the rules of etiquette.
At the event, which was held in the form of an open dialogue, officials provided detailed answers to all questions of interest to students and made suggestions and recommendations on measures to prevent corruption at an early stage.
