To the attention of dear professors, parents and students!
As you know (https://t.me/eduuz/7642), on December 24, 2021, the head of our state signed two historic resolutions on granting financial, academic and organizational independence to higher education institutions, which will lead to radical positive changes in the higher education system. This marked the beginning of a new era in the higher education system of Uzbekistan.
The decision (https://lex.uz/docs/5793251) to grant financial independence to 35 of the most potential higher education institutions in the country from January 2022 requires the qualitative implementation of tasks in this area and the creation of a solid foundation already.
This, in turn, requires a new system-based approach to the management of higher education institutions.
To this end, for the first time in the history of the higher education system – practical training seminars will be organized for rectors, vice-rectors, deans and those responsible for finance in order to improve their professional skills and start working in a new order.
At the same time, due to the full transition of higher education institutions to the credit-module system, training for heads of departments and professors is organized in all higher education institutions, apart from the main work.
Heads of all professional educational institutions and academic lyceums under higher education institutions are also involved in this process.
Based on the above, in order to start the second half of the 2021/2022 academic year with full and thorough preparation, the winter vacation period for students of higher and professional educational institutions, academic lyceums has been extended until January 24, 2022.
In turn, during the winter holidays in order to spend meaningful time of students of higher and professional educational institutions, academic lyceums in cooperation with the rectors of higher education institutions will be organized online science Olympiads, intellectual quizzes.
We invite all our young people to participate in these events and show their potential!
In order to create favorable conditions for students to return from their homes to educational institutions, the period of 50% discount on air and rail tickets has been extended until January 24, 2022.
And most importantly – air and rail tickets purchased for the period until January 11, 2022 will be exchanged free of charge for the appropriate period.
