November 25 – On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly, another such event was held yesterday at the Children’s School of Music and Arts in the city. The event, organized by the city administration, the Department of Public Education and the Kattakurgan branch of Samarkand State University, was attended by representatives of the community and women. The event was attended by a team of Aristocrats in other language groups: students of the Russian language group 21_10 with their performances against violence and was awarded a letter of thanks from the mayor.
