Muhammad Yusuf was born on April 26, 1954 in Marhamat district of Andijan region.
In 1978 he graduated from the Institute of Russian Language and Literature, Faculty of Russian Language and Literature.
In 1998 he was awarded the title of People’s Poet of Uzbekistan.
The first collection of poems – “Familiar poplars” (1985). Also, “I have a word for the nightingale” (1987), “Prayer” (1988), “Sleeping girl”, “Halima enam allalari” (1989), “Ship of love” (1990), “A friend in my heart” (1991), He has published books of poetry, such as “Bevafo kop ekan”, “Yolgonchi yor” (1993), “Erka kiyik” (1995), “Osmonimga alp ketamen” (1998), “Ulugimsan, vatanim” (2004).
